Dear Brothers and Lasallians

Sending my gratitude and best wishes to all of you during this important Advent Season, I would like to share a reflection on Advent time and would also like to send a Merry Christmas Card and wishing you all a prosperous, peaceful Year 2018.

No One Knows the Day or Hour:   Be Watchful, Alert (Mk13:33-37)

No one knows, however, when the day or hour will come – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, only the Father knows. Be on watch, be alert, for you do not know when the time will come. It will be like a man who goes away from home on a journey and leaves his servants in charge, after giving to each one his own work to do and after telling the doorkeeper to keep watch. “Be on guard, then, because you do not know when the master of the house is coming – it might be in the evening or at midnight or before dawn or at sunrise. If he comes suddenly, he must not find you asleep. What I say to you, then, I say to all: watch!”

Dear Brothers and Lasallian Partners the time of Advent is the time given to us to prepare ourselves, to be ready, to make a real Conversion, to have a change of mind, a change of a distorted Attitude, a change of one’s out-look or way of thinking, a way of living as followers of Jesus Christ who is going to be born in our hearts in a few weeks time.
Some Questions:
Am I watchful and Alert?
Am I on guard and ready for the coming of the master/Jesus?
Am I awake to meet the master/Jesus?
Do I feel really am living an authentic life as religious Brother?

Brothers, and Lasallians, I would like to conclude the reflection mentioning
(Ps 25: 4-5) “ Teach me your ways O Lord; make them known to me.
Teach me to live according to your truth,
For you are my God, who saves me.
                          I always trust in you”.
